The Second Tour Foundation helps veterans transition into their next chapter through housing, wellness, workforce development, community, and purpose-driven support. Our flagship South Carolina Veteran Village is the first step toward sustainable communities where veterans can heal, rebuild, and thrive.
Support the mission Explore the VillageThe Second Tour Foundation is a veteran reintegration and community-development organization. We help veterans regain stability, reconnect with purpose, access support services, build meaningful relationships, and create sustainable futures. Housing is where it begins, but it is the foundation, not the finish line.
Safe, dignified homes that give veterans the stable footing every next step depends on.
Whole-person wellness and mental-health support, coordinated alongside VA clinical care.
Training, skills, and pathways to meaningful employment and a sustainable civilian future.
Veterans supporting veterans. A community built by people who have walked the road back.
Pairing veterans with service dogs to support independence, healing, and daily life.
Nature-based and recreational programming that restores connection and well-being.
The South Carolina Veteran Village is our proof-of-concept project and first major housing initiative, and the first campus of a larger veteran support ecosystem. Positioned minutes from the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, it's designed to become the model for veteran communities and programs in other locations.
